Mounts of Royston are an independent family business that was established in 1955 by Frank and Elsie Mount. Joined in 1968 by their son Ken, and now enjoying its 48th year of trading, the business was also joined in 1970 by Ken’s wife Susan, and in 1991 their son Jon also became part of the company.

Our range of chairs can offer something for everyone, from leather recliners for the ultimate relaxation experience, to electric rising and reclining chairs for the person who has difficulty getting from a seated to standing position unaided. Most chairs in this range are available to suit your needs and budgets, with 0% V.A.T. if registered disabled or receiving atte ndance allowance. Just think, a person who has lost a little independence can regain some by being able to get out of their chair unaided.

Our expanding storage facilities will soon be able to offer even more choice, but for those wanting something other than stock items, we can on certain models promise delivery in as little as 14 days!

Here at Mounts we aim to provide

We are able to supply and deliver, (including installation and testing) any chair that you may need, from our expanding stock of between 60-80 chairs. These include around 10-15 rise/recline and massage/heat therapeutic ranges. All stock items available for immediate delivery both locally, (free within a 15 mile radius) and nationally, (delivery charges apply, see delivery page for further details).

The chairs that we sell come in many different shapes, sizes and designs We offer a chair tailoring service on certain models, and special sizes/specifications are also available.
